We offer a wide range of bespoke courses for schools, with hands-on activities being a particular strength. Our aim is always to develop youngsters so that they come away feeling good about themselves and having acquired new skills. As an accredited training centre, we can arrange ASDAN courses and we will take people’s special interests and create a related course. This might be something as specific as expressive arts via video making. Our goal is always to acknowledge and focus on what people can do rather than what they can’t.
Several members of the team are former special school staff and are experienced at developing activities programmes that are enjoyable, fulfilling and contribute towards gaining independence skills.
The spacious, rural settings at both of Corran’s premises enables service users to take part in outdoor activities including simple general maintenance tasks, animal care, growing vegetables, sports activities, gardening, and barbecuing in the summer months.
Some of the activities we take part in allow individuals to form links with the local community and this is yet another opportunity for learning. All of our schools programmes are outcome driven and can be run for a short period, e.g. at half term, or on an ongoing basis. We strive to make our offering affordable for schools and we give a huge amount of value in terms of the experiences we provide and the development we see in the children we work with.

We also have a centre in Wales – Corran Vale. Please click here to see the services we offer there.
